My Dad turned the big 60 this month and to celebrate we flew up to Whidbey Island in Washington where my Aunt & Uncle live so he can fish the days away. My uncle made it a mission to make sure I got great pictures and every spot he took us to DID NOT disappoint. The views were to DIE for. And it was soooooo quiet! Really could have spent a week up there just relaxing and enjoying the views. This trip was a blast and I can’t wait to visit again!
Loved. Loved. Loved Pike Place Market!
My parents with Rachel the pig!
Apparently it’s tradition to take pictures on the Ferry going to and from Whidbey Island so we ran up to squeeze in a few! The picture to the left is me and my Uncle Mitch and the right is my parents, Margaret & Steve : )
My Uncle Mitch took us to Deception Bridge which is about 5 minutes from their front door. Simply beautiful.
The sunrise picture below was taken by my beautiful mother. Because let’s face it…am I ever up that early??? Nope! Can I also mention that this is the view from my Aunt and Uncles back porch!! Color me jealous.
The view from Mt. Erie
My Aunt Nancy and my Mama. Love this pictures of them!
We spent one day devoted to fishing. Here is a few from the excursion. We spent ALL day fishing and came home with one salmon caught by my Aunt Nancy. That fish my Dad is holding below had to be thrown back!
On our way back from fishing we got some pictures of the sunset, again. I can’t get enough!
I need this picture framed.
Sunrise from the porch again. Seriously, lucky ducks to have this view! This is also another one captured by my Mama! MOODY!
Again, it’s tradition. This time on our way home!
